Child Death Overview Panel Newsletter - Summer 2017

Wednesday, 12 July 2017 | Sarah Dunne

The Child Death Overview Panel (CDOP) is a sub-group of the Local Safeguarding Children Board, and is responsible for reviewing all deaths of Suffolk infants, children and young people from birth up to the age of 18. The aim of the CDOP is primarily to collect and analyse information about Suffolk child deaths and undertake to identify and address learning points that will help to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for children and families.

Read the Summer Newsletter which focuses on Summer Safety - keeping safe around water, trampolines and garden safety, beat the heat and other tips for travelling, as well as road safety and car seats. There is also some advice on talking to children and young people about emotional wellbeing and e-safety.
