Child Safety Week
Wednesday, 19 June 2013 | Ali Spalding
Child Safety Week is the Child Accident Prevention Trust's flagship annual community education campaign, raising awareness of serious childhood accidents and how to prevent them, without wrapping children in cotton wool.
Information from our Safeguarding Nurses in our hospitals has showed an increase in the number of cases of accidental poisoning in children aged 0-5. There have been over 200 cases and in response to this we have produced a Practitioners Guide.
Free resources are also available from the Child Accident Prevention Trust's website.
