Safeguarding Conference for Norfolk and Suffolk Faith Group Leaders
Published on 25 May 2018 by Sarah Dunne
Norfolk and Suffolk Safeguarding Children Boards are organising a free safeguarding conference for faith organisations on Thursday 5th July 2018 at Brome Grange near Diss.
The conference is an opportunity for both Boards to develop greater links with colleagues in our faith communities across both counties so that we can better support each other on safeguarding priorities and developments. The event will focus on current safeguarding issues and explore how these impact on faith organisations. The conference will be an opportunity for different faith groups to come together and share safeguarding practice, update on current safeguarding themes and network with each other.
We are delighted to welcome two key speakers to the conference: Manwar Ali, Interventions Provider for the Office of Security and Counter Terrorism (OSCT), Home Office and Hugh Constant, Practice Development Manager, Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE).
If you would like to book on this event, please see the link in the attached flyer.
