Suffolk Neglect Conference

Neglect is one of the LSCB’s priorities for 2018/19, so on Thursday 17th January we held a Neglect Conference at University of Suffolk. The event was open to all partners and focused on bringing national expertise and research to Suffolk and explored key areas such as the use of the Graded Care Profile, adolescent neglect and understanding how poverty is affecting our children and families..

The conference also launched the revised Neglect Strategy and Action Plan and in separate groups, delegates looked at the Action Plan and came up with ideas and specific actions around how Suffolk can address neglect.
